Year 2084 / 2001 - Yesim Ozsoy

The wars still raged on.
The world had been divided into four major zones: EuropEurope, Asiasia, Oceania, and The Other World…
Amidst it all, Jullia and Winston were searching for love.

Inspired by George Orwell’s 1984, this performative solo play written by Yeşim Özsoy was created through the synergy of music, video, and text. A multimedia, one-woman performance, the show made its world premiere at the Fringe Festival in New York in 2001. It was later staged at Babylon, Roxy, Apartman Projesi, GalataPerform, and Kargartin Istanbul.
