About the Play:

A chubby Superman, a self-assured Cleopatra, an activist Native American, an overly rational academic, and a flashy young man stuck in the ’80s perform a text written by Ms. Y and directed by Ms. P as a playback performance on a brightly lit stage that feels small to them.

How much of these playback roles dictated to them truly belong to them, and how much is the writer’s fantasy? Is a playback of our lives possible? How much of the roles imposed on us reflect our true selves? Can we find answers to these questions in 7 questions and 7 tableaux?
